Our MARCH PAINT-IN will feature one of our favorite local teachers (and fellow South Side Brush member), Sandy Dreher. Sandy will be teaching Patricia Rawlinson's Summer Geranium Banner. The cost of the Paint-In is $10.00. The Pattern and Surface Fee for this class is $12.00. For the total cost of $22.00, each student will receive Patricia Rawlinson's Pattern Packet, a Roc Lon Banner and a Varnishing Sponge.

For an additional $7.00, South Side Brushes' Hospitality Committee is offering an optional catered lunch. Please see Pam's article for more information.

NOTE: The Preparation Instructions for this Project ask you to trace the pattern with white tracing paper. Since you will not be receiving the pattern until the date of the class, you may trace the pattern in class that day. However, it is very important that, prior to the date of the class, you use a foam roller to roll two (2) coats of Lamp Black to each side of the Banner, as it will be easier to trace the design when your basecoat has had ample time to dry. The paints used for this project are Deco Art Americana Colors, as follows:

Black Green Lamp Black
Bleached Sand Napa Red
Blue Violet Naphthol Red
Blush Flesh Burnt Umber
Country Blue Milk Chocolate
Evergreen Hauser Dark Green
Olive Green Hauser Medium Green
Soft Black Hauser Light Green
Soft Lilac Traditional Burnt Sienna
